Passport holders from Brunei, Japan, and Singapore can visit China for up to fifteen days without a visa. Those with a Taiwan passport can enter with a Mainland Travel Permit (台胞證), obtainable by application upon arrival in China, while those with a Hong Kong passport need to apply prior to departure for a Home Return Permit (回鄉證) from the Bureau of Exit and Entry Administration of the Ministry of Public Security.
